Hi There,
As you have seen, my blog was on hold for some time, but it’s all good now, and I am so happy to come back to my blog again.
I decided to write this post to introduce myself and let you know a little bit better about me and my project plans.
If you are new here, my name is Natali, and I’m a fashion designer and sewing pattern maker.
I’m married and have a beautiful 7-year-old daughter.
I’ve always loved fashion. It’s something from an early age that my parents really tried to impart. Design is important to have in your life to express.
I have been sewing and crafting as long as I can remember myself a little kid. I have I have always been passionate about fashion and making clothes for my dolls.
When I was very young, I was mainly doing hand sewing; some little crafts were always driven by the most complicated projects I could find, no matter how above my skill level.
My family encouraged me to pursue any of my creative whims.
As I got older, I did a little experiment with my own sewing, then by the time for my family and friends.
Today, my wardrobe is about 70-75% handmade. I do almost all my clothing and really enjoy that I love total control over the style and fit of clothing.
I love wearing things that I made, and if someone can compliment my outfit, I can say with pride,’ I made it
I feel it’s really very cool that I can make my own clothing
I felt like being a designer was the only option for me.
After school and college graduation, I worked for several clothing companies.
I remember that time as the best time for my work experience.
When I became a mum, I left the clothing company for family reasons
Since I am a mum, I love doing girls’ clothing, toys and home decoration.
For many years, I collected a lot of sewing and design experience, which I would like to share with the world, to turn my creative ideas into DIY and maybe create a small community.
I believe if you are passionate about sewing and crafts is very adventure for your life.
For any new project I started, I always learn something new about this process about this hobby that I enjoy so much, and I give myself a lot of space to screw up basically because it’s gonna happen from time to time. Sometimes it doesn’t sometimes it goes really smoothly, but a lot of times, there are some hiccups along the way, and I think important to not be too hard on yourself and give yourself the space to experiment and make mistakes.
So, I like to go over with you step by step the craft and sewing processes to help you to make your creativity more successful in your journey.
